Steven Michael Hanson's life was cut short due to an automobile accident on July 1, 1984. He was the beloved oldest son of Edward and Linda Cushman Hanson and the "big" brother to Ed "Skid" Hanson. He would have been so proud of his twin nephews, E.N. and William. His endearing spirit and zest for life are sadly missed by his family and friends.

Steven loved animals. His gentle hand made fast friends of cattle. He was actively involved in 4H, FFA, football, track and was especially fond of his time spent on the baseball field.

He attended Zion Lutheran Church of Clifton where he was both baptized and confirmed and an active member of the Luther League youth group.

Steven was looking forward to being a Senior prior to his death and would have been a member of Central's 1985 graduating class. He planned to attend Wyoming Tech after graduation in hopes of becoming a John Deere mechanic.

Steven took great pride in being a true friend and would have been proud to know that scholarships were given to others in his name.
