The purpose of the Central 5k Memorial Scholarship is to honor the memory of local residents of Central School District and to assist graduating students in their pursuit of their chosen career field. The 2008 Central 5K Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Katelyn Graham. The deadline to apply for the scholarship was April 15, 2008. The winners can be seen here.

The scholarship selection is based on grade point average, ACT score, School/Community involvement, Central 5K race participation and short answer questions. A Scholarship Certificate is awarded at the Central Awards Night. Upon proof of enrollment, a $1,000 check is given in the name of the college/university and the graduating student. Please check back often for details on the 2009 Scholarship which will be dedicated to the memory of Dawn Schafer.
