Jeff Rudin was a member of the graduating class of 1981. As a member of The National Honor Society and a participant in virtually all sporting events, he proudly represented Central High School as a Scholar/Athlete. Jeff was the son of Robert and Judy Rudin of Clifton and brother to Dan of Manteno. Jeff's passions remained school, sports, and learning to fly. As a member of Zion Lutheran Church, he participated in Luther League and its many activities. He had been accepted at Purdue and so looked forward to that experience.

Jeff died as the result of an automobile accident on February 15, 1981. His friendliness, sincerity, and kind heart will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and community. Jeff was an excellent student and would have been extremely honored that a $1,000 scholarship in his name was presented to Eric Wright in June of 2007 to further his education in Engineering at the University of Illinois.
